I help run a rescue and I know it doesn't cost US that much to get all of the necessary medical things done.
What I find interesting and just saw was that they have many pure bred pups and some "Designer pups" for adoption. Most specific breed rescues stick to just rescuing that breed or a dog mixed with that breed. They may occassionally have a stray come in but not as many as this place seems to have. I too volunteer with a rescue here in NJ and I just posted the info. on our yahoo group. We are all finding this very intersting.
