 A Little Disturbed... Rescue.
I always search around petfinder and came across Yorkie Pups in NJ currently with another breed rescue. I don't want to mention specific names. They have them advertised as TEA CUP PUPS. Our Newman will be dead a year this August and although I have the girls it seems quite different without out little boy. For awhile I've been toying with adding another. Since these pups were in NJ I inquired. Originally, I thought that the rescue they were with was the rescue my parents had gotten their Collie from but after I wrote I realized that the name was similiar but it was not the same rescue. With that said, I got an application sent to me and was very taken back by the adoption fee. $745 for a pup and YOU pay for the Neuter. I'm prob. the biggest supporter of rescue but $745 for a pup from rescue that will not even come with a neuter seems ridiculous. And, that is not to mention how they have these pups advertised. I paid $400 for my Lilly and she was 13 weeks and that included her spay and her shots etc. Anyway, I'm just a little disturbed by the whole thing. Elaine |
