Teeth it is OK

to shave her close all over, if that is what you like, and it will keep the burrs out and the high temps of summer will be easier on your doggie too. She is your dog, and it is your choice, so go ahead if that is what you want to do. My little Cricket had a longer face and topknot, but her body is clipped very close because she has a cottony coat. She's happier, and I think she is just adorable! Win/win

It certainly will not hurt your yorkie to have a close clipper cut at this age, or any age.

Well and not only do I just want her groomed, I want her shaved.

While I wouldn't normally want to do this, I feel like I have to bc the whole burr thing is an ongoing issue and it is very painful for her. Would you reccomend shaving her??

I have found a great groomer who I trust but Abbey hates being brushed and sometimes bites me and won't hold still soooo that may also be an issue to getting her shaved so young.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
