I feed my Yorkies Canidae All Stages dry and I add a little canned Pedigree Puppy Lamb and Rice or Pedigree Chopped Chicken. After whelping I mix dry Chicken Soup Puppy food with the Canidae and canned puppy food. All my dogs free feed, dry food is always available.
It sounds like she is getting plenty to eat. You might what to put out a bowl of dry food for her to munch on if she gets hungry. Just watch her weight. Sometimes females will loose weight when pregnant and the owners don't notice it because of the fat belly and then after the pups are born they are surprised how skinny momma is. And on the other had you don't want her to get to fat because that can make the puppies fatter and harder to deliver. |
