It doesn't sound stupid at all to me and wouldn't to anyone else that could see them. It's obvious he's loved and looked after her for some time now. I don't blame you for crying either, when you imagine their story and see how precious they are together, crying is natural.
I can't wait to get them cleaned up and pretty, so I'm off to bathe. I think their tummies should have settled down after the long journey and dinner now.
Just think you all, these two made the trip from Borger to Chouteau....that's 6 hours driving time and 391 miles...in ONE day! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank all of you who made this possible.
