Don't count on it. I had a little boy run up to our 120lb Ivan and throw his arms around his neck and shout "Doggie!" Thank God it was the gentle giant instead of someone's huge not so nice dog! As far as someone picking up one of my little ones? Forget it. I have had my fill of that and won't allow it. I just tell people that they get excited and pee on people. Nobody wants to hold them after that! LOL
