I love my boy! My advise is to visit several different litters and interview the breeders. Meet the parents and watch their personalities. It was very important for me to have a dog that was more laid back and loving. I found a breeder whose doggie parents were exactly that. They didn't bark too much, were friendly, outgoing, laid back, and fine around my then four-year-old. While visiting this litter, I found my Tucker! Not because he was a boy or girl, but because he sat on our laps and cuddled the whole time! Also, you could tell that his brother was the dominant one and I didn't want to go there! Tucker is still much the same now. He's friendly, good with kids and submissive to other dogs and to us ( he rolls over on his belly and backs his booty up to other dogs when he first meets them!) He was neutered at 6 months. I have no problems with marking or humping. He is always under my feet and has to be in whatever room I am in. He won't always lay on my lap, but he always wants to be near me. I love him and couldn't ask for a better doggie! |
