We have done blood panels before her LP surgeries and nothing was out of the norm. When I went to the specialist for the U/S they did a complete blood panel and coagulation and again, nothing was out of the norm. So without do a biopsy and only going by the BAT - Both her Vet and Internal Medicine Specialist feel she probably has MVD.
I am upset the numbers went up, I tried so hard to schedule it soooooooooooo far away from anything that could interfere, but I guess it is, what it is. Although I have up'd her protein intake a tad, b/c she was doing so well, maybe that isn't good  I'll let you know how the consult goes  |
If she's completely asymptomatic, meaning no funny behavior, lethargy, pickiness, thinness,etc. then it's okay to up her protein as long as it's the proper type. She should get as much protein as possible without having symptoms...That doesn't mean to give her like 45% or anything, but you know what I'm saying
