My Lulu was doing the same kind of thing & we thought it must be her teething, but when we went to the vet, they couldn't find anything in her mouth. Finally after about 3 different vet visits, we all figured out that her ears were bothering her - once we treated the ears she stopped the mouth clicking grinding noises....Good Luck!
