Since you have chosen to not go any further with other testing and if it is MVD the numbers won't go down, why do you want another BAT? I'm just curious because Ellie's were 106 last time but we have stopped BATing for now because in the vet's words, "They're just scaring us anyway". There is nothing that can be done unless I want to try one more med and no diagnosis can be reached. Maybe I will redue it in a few months but for Ellie it doesn't seem worth it.

Because Ellie's was 106 I still have to wonder if they missed something on the U/S and there is a shunt there. I would wonder the same for Roxy.

I also am very suspicious that vaccines take a lot longer than a week or two to get out of the system because Ellie's number went up to 106 so fast. It was 45 days later but I'm not convinced it wasn't from that.

I want to do a Protein C test but aren't there doubts about that right now?
Did you do one?

Is Roxy on Denosyl?
No Lactulose, right?
My Vet said every year now to do a BAT, I guess I would like to do it every 6 months, b/c I am scared of getting hit with a high number

As far as vaccines, she last had them last year, and her intercepter and frontline were given a month ago or longer. The only thing I can think of that may have made her number go up was either the fact that I had been giving her Childrens Benedryl for her itching like crazy OR I had been giving her a tad more daily protein.

Protein C - I still haven't gotten a definite answer as to wether a Protein C and a Coagulation test are one in the same - if YES - then YES she did have the coagulation done when we went to the specialist. Nothing out of the norm.

Roxy was on Flagly and Lactuloses for 10 days (after her U/S) but I saw NO difference in her behavior, not even the slightest, so her specialist said she doesn't need it. No Denosyl either.
