Amen! My nephew is currently serving his 2nd tour in the heart (Sadr City -the worst part) of Bagdad. He says the only way the Insurgent's can wander the streets is by dragging women or children around with them. When they enter a building, they shove them outside and shoot them! Since our troops are prohibited from shooting where there are possible civilians, there is nothing that can be done. Now, please tell me this isn't traumatic and won't scar our men and women that have to see this on a daily basis. There is no amount of money in the world that can repay them for what they are doing to protect our country by putting themselves in so much harms way. OK - stepping off my soapbox
(this subject could keep me going all day - being an army brat whose dad was gone for 18 months during the Korean War and several times after that). I just keep praying for their safe return to their families.
