If you are keeping your baby in the laundry room, be sure that you have the metal mesh water lines. They should never leak compared to the rubber ones. I used to own a carpet cleaning company & we had a flood emergency - the hot water line (rubber) leaked, flooded most of the house. The folks were going to put the dog in the laundry room, but didn't that night. Good thing for the dog.

For my girl, we kept her child gated in the kitchen, and worked all day (no crate). She's potty pad trained for during the day. It didn't take to long for her to have the run of the house all day. This is my first Yorkie & I have found they are pretty smart & pick up quickly. Happy training!
