I can so relate to your problem picky puppy. My "Biscuit" also acts like he hates food! I am becoming neurotic about it
I find myself spending so much time worrying, trying to figure out different foods that he may eat. I am successful at getting him to eat a little boiled chicken and rice, a few bites of cottage cheese, he does seem to like the pure turkey baby food, but only a couple little bites at a time , then he turns his nose up and walks away. He even does this with water , although I can get him to drink water by telling him what a good boy he is, when he first starts drinking.
He is happy, energetic, lovable and acts perfectly normal. He just isn't interested in eating. Now and then he will get a real interest and eat several bites, most of the time ...a few bites. I do give him Nutrical twice a day just to keep his sugar up.
If I try to keep coaxing him with the dish, after i set it down, he will push at the bowl over and over like he is trying to bury it! What a character.
