Default It is a lot of work for one litter!!!

Just my personal exp. but if you are only thinking of breeding her once here are somethings to consider.
1. Is she pet quality, or an exceptional showcase of the breed
2. Is it just for the experiance or to let your family experiance the birth?
3. Are you prepared for any outcome? Although done everyday, some dogs die during whelping, or have serious complications?
4. Are you finacially prepared for the added expense of puppies?
5. Are you able to care for the babies if mom does not?
6. WIll you be able to handle the loss of a puppy?
7. Are you ready to have puppies in your house for 3 months?
8. Are you willing to put in the time and effort to find them exceptional homes?

I would say if you are doing it just for the experiance, then no, spay her and save yourself and her the heartache of the possible bad endings that can and do happen.
