Thank you for your compliments. I have taken extra care with my leg and scar. I was bed bound for almost 8 weeks only getting up for potty breaks and as soon as the stitches came out I started massaging the incision with emu oil - fantastic stuff!. The hardware stays, there wasn't enough bone left to use the removable kind.
