but you must first clamp and cut from placenta.. i never needed a bulb syringe.. too much pressure could collapse a lung, especially with inspiration.. if used it should be for MILD aspiation..
hold the puppy up over your head with arms stretched and swing down between your legs. this clears the airway... bulb syringe only in emergency.. let mom clean baby.. just make sure you have him breathing with head out.. if it is the first baby for your mom, she may be scared of it and try to run away.. so you may have to open the first sac... but let her clean and care for it.. the first one is the scariest..
