After my husband died and I had to move and downsize - I sold everything on craigslist - It's a really good site and you can screen people more or less - try to meet them outside or your garage if possible and have someone with you. I was alone and there were a few times I was a little worried but everything worked out.
and take pictures !! take GOOD pictures - stuff sells much faster with a good photo and try to put all the info you can in your post ....I had master copies of wording so I didn't have to keep repeating myself in emails
also - after a week or so - REPOST IT - just copy your original sale wording - delete the old one and re-upload the photos again - that works if something doesn't sell the first time - |
