Default Help, she seems so miserable

Gracie is teething...loosing her baby teeth. And she seems so miserable right now. It just breaks my heart. She walks around carrying her yellow ducky and just makes the most pitiful whine. Then she'll stop and look up at me and do a little whine. She's hurting and doesn't understand why.

It's been nearly 20 years since I had one young enough to go thru teething, and I don't really remember Sadie having issues with it. Is there anything I can do or give her that will bring her some relief until this passes? I thought about wetting a washcloth and putting it in the freezer then giving that to her to chew on.

I've crushed up her food so that it's easier for her to eat. She is such a good eater of her kibble, I really don't want to start giving her can food. I thought maybe I could just add some water to soften it for a little while. Has anyone had their babies eating habits change after going thru teething?

I know she is the more miserable, but I'm a close second right now.
