I also love the golden color... along with black/tan, parti's and chocolates I would one day love to have a golden girl of my own but there is no way I can have anymore for many years I would consider them rare in the true sense of the word. I do not however think that raising the prices because of this is right. I have a chocolate girl and I paid no more for her then I would have a standard color yorkie, and I would buy her all over again if I had to re-do it. I really don't give a hoot what the YTCA says about breeding yorkies that do not fit the standard. IMO there are far more people breeding unhealthy standard color yorkies that should be chastised then the people that I have meet and spoke with regarding chocolates in particular.
