Do you know anyone else who has boarded their dog at your vet? Do they have the facilities so the dogs can run around all day? Can't imagine , but maybe I'm wrong, that a vet would have time to play with all their patients they see...And who stays with them on Sat and Sun...? Aren't vets closed on Sun? I'm sure your baby was homesick and will be fine, but keep an eye on your little one... I visited a 'pet spa' here in Az and all it was is 3 x 5 cement rooms with a window in the door, a bed raised from the floor and some of them had tv s ...They did have a large fenced in are where the big and little dogs ran around at different times...It smelled and I was afraid to walk down the prison-like hall to see all the cells, I mean rooms...Either the dog was asleep or barking at the door to get out....And this was a 'spa' ... We walked out.... We were actually looking for a new groomer and said we wanted to see the place, so we got the tour...Unfortunately, the groomer we picked handed her to us and when we got out we noticed her limping , thought she had her sister's harness on wrong (we have 3 dogs) took her home and yep, she's limping..I called back and of course nothing happened while she was with them !!!! Okay, we are never going there again...Something happened to her pad...She was fine after a few days..We now groom them ourselves, hair grows back fast , right?
