Hot Rod hated his step in harness (and still does-we still use it from time to time). He constantly chews on it. I don't think he likes the buckles. I got him a vest harness and other than getting used to the noise of the velcro, he is fine with that on. I use the step in now because it has been so hot and I think that it is cooler than the vest.
He was fine once he figured out how far he could go with his leash. At first he would just keep running and then get jerked back because he reached the end.
Also, I wound up getting the next size up leash which gives you 16' instead of just 10'. It really has not been that different for him and it gives him extra roaming length. |
