I wish you would reconsider using a harness, just because your puppy is a little bigger than average doesn't mean you can't damage his trachea. Yorkies are very prone to this anyway, but a puppy, even a huge puppy should wear a harness and not a collar. Also sometimes you have to pull them to safety fast, and this can be done so easily with a harness.
