It's difficult to explain, it's unlike any human product I've ever seen, almost the consistency of honey. It doesn't leave the hair stiff, and I just rewet the area and brush back with a toothbrush, adding a little more each day if necessary. Joey gets a bath once a week, and it washes out easily.
