I need a time machine! I don't know how else I'm going to make it these next few months! I've been dying to have a dog, and for the past year and a half I've been doing my research. Recently things have come together and I've realized that the time is right now. So with the help of all of the research and information I've read here, and the help of my amazing mother, I've been in contact with a few breeders.
I thought it was going to happen a little while ago with one breeder but the more things went along the more I realized she wasn't good, in fact I'm pretty sure she's a backyard breeder. All the same I said NO to her.
Now I've been in contact with a few others, one of which I'm hoping will work out. She's willing to work with my budget and she's been extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. She's sent me a picture of the dad (I'm waiting for pictures of the mom and of the puppies) and we've planned a weekend that I'll come and visit to check out the puppies and the environment they're in. But every second I'm not occupied I'm thinking about my future puppy. I don't know how I'll make it until the middle of July for the visit and the beginning of August to get her. But what's worse is that I keep thinking about if this falls through too, and things get put off again.
How do/have you guys made time go by in situations such as this (when you haven't quite gotten your baby and/or when you're waiting to take it home)?

P.S. This site is just amazing. I am so happy that I found it! I just can't wait for the day that I've got a Yorkie of my own to brag about and post pictures of! |
