The Yorkie did get 1st place for the group it was it in but, did not make it in for best of breed. They were registered for Sunday but did not show. I did get to talk to lady that breeds yorkies and she said the one that was showing she knows the breeder and that she has some pups available. The one thing that made me leary was the fact that the breeder of the yorkie also breeds Maltese and Peks. My understanding is that that is not the best of breeders please tell if this is true. Thanks for asking. |
I am glad you got to go. There are many show people that have multiple breeds so that in itself should not be a bad thing. Maybe you could just setup a time to go visit her and see her dogs. There are many questions you can ask that would help you determine if she is reputable or not. How long has she been showing? How many champions does she have? What kind of contract/guarantee does she have? I just recommend you take your time and talk to several show breeders before you decide.
