Yes I believe the 25 gauge is the smallest size of needles. I was thinking unit size of syringe. I have bought allergy type syringes were I have gotten the units of the syringe as small as 1/2 cc , The gauge may have been 25, but the length is something different also of the needle, I think they come in 5/8'' 1/2'', and 1 inch lengths. If I am going into a very small muscle and or subcutaneous I use the 5/8''. I haven't looked into insulin syringes for gauge and length. I think they are smiliar.
Do you have to get a prescription for syringes from your VET?
