Angry Housebreaking Relapse?????????

Hi all...

My 2 Yorkies, Dixie and Daisha, were both spayed this past week and everything went fairly well. My little one, Daisha, had a harder time recovering, but she's doing much better. They were 95% housebroken before surgery and after surgery they are at about 50%. ?? Is it normal for them to "forget" to use the peepads? I have the pads in the same spots, but now its like they will just "go" wherever! I even went and bought a Bissell handheld steam cleaner to keep from dragging out my big cleaner every day. I am afraid they are going to ruin my carpet!! They aren't used to being locked up when we're home and scolding isn't helping much. I just wondered if anyone else's furbabies had seemed to relapse after surgery..... I am getting VERY VERY frustrated. They know they've done bad because they will start looking guilty (walking slowly with head & tail tucked...) and then sure enough, when I begin looking -- there's either a pee spot or a pile of poop somewhere. Granted its not very BIG, but that is beside the point. HELP!!!!!!!!!
