Gosh that is just too bad. Sending many prayers up for Barbi and for the surgeons to act on this quickly. I hope they are getting a cardiology consult to rule out endocarditis/vegetation. Also if she has had her PICC line placed yet for the long term iv ABX, i hope the tip is in the right spot and not irritating her heart
I have seen that happen too.
I am assuming they have her on tele monitoring now. Will be praying and waiting for updates
