I wake up lots during the night. I attribute it to hormones, but who knows?! When I'm having trouble sleeping, the only thing that makes a difference is to get my pillow and blanket and go on the couch. For some reason (maybe because it is difficult to toss and turn there) I am able to go back to sleep. We have a tri-level home and it is much cooler in the living room as well.
