Yeah I have VPI and they didn't cover any of Teddi's emergency vet visit, emergency hospital or surgery with her liver shunt. They told me they pay on final diagnosis so it didn't matter that when I took her to the hospital we didn't know what she had. The only reason I don't cancel them is because I have it through work and for some reason they have never taken it out of my paycheck but they are paying VPI so I haven't cancelled. I would not recommend this insurance. There might be a better one that this or just set up a puppy bank account and put money in there for puppy emergencies.
