Sophie has hers, and we have had only minor problems. Mostly the fact that they don't seem to get trimmed properly when she is groomed. We have had to get them trimmed between times occasionally. They also seem to curl. One did split, but our vet was able to trim it well enough to get it fixed. If we ever get another Yorkie, I would make certain that the dew claws were removed.
