Hello Everyone!
I have just about finished reading
The Loved Dog in preparation for my puppy in 2 days! I even made notecards for each section to keep handy while training him!
So, I just read the Housebreaking chapter, and up until now, I have agreed with everything she is saying. She says to crate train, the dog should be in the crate for 2 hours with no food or water. Then, let out to eat, drink. and eliminate for about 30 mins, then repeat the cycle all day.
What will I be able to do for 2 hours in a 1 floor condo without feeling guilty about my new arrival being in a cage? I REALLY want to do this right from the start but does everyone agree with this method?
