Any of you guys who are waitresses i have a newfound respect for you guys.


So at work they are training me to be a server, cuz on sundays they are short handed. Anyway, I got trained in last week, so I served today. So today this family of for comes in I take their order and all is fine and dandy. I put there order in and the chef makes the wrong meal! I didn't know this yet(cuz like I said i'm new), so i bring it out to them and they were like our meal comes with hashbrowns, not pancakes.
I was like just a second i'll go check. They were right. so i take thier plates and go tell the chef and he was like "take the pancakes off and i will make the hashbrowns."
I bring them their meals and told them the hashbrowns would be done in a little bit. So i go in there after a while and he forgot to make them! so i told him i need them asap. Well i went to check on them and the guy was like we are done with our meals and the eggs were cold, and we don't want to wait for the hashbrowns. We weren't impressed and he's like i want to talk to your manager. I was like ok. I went and got her, she gave the meals to them for free(no problem) and b****ed me out!
HELLO it wasn't my fault, i don't cook the eggs or the one who made the wrong meal! Stupid!
Well on the plus side of today, i made $23 in tips plus my $7/hour!

So those of you who have to deal with this on a regular basis I feel so bad for you!
