People who are not impulse buyers will drive or fly to the home to get a puppy. I flew to TN. and got Zada and I flew Zada's first cousin, Azrael, along with the same breeders neighbor, out here to CA. I would never ship a puppy!
As far as shots go, it is not a good idea to get those at 6 or 8 weeks of age.

The breeder I got both these girls from had them spayed before she let them go. I think that is fantastic. It will insure those babies are not bred. She also had them bile acid tested.
