Not only did it damage my liver..which wasn't "noticed" until this past February..but I suddenly gained 18 lbs in 16 days..I was so swollen, I litterallly looked like I was about 7 months pregnant...I had to bring this up as a red flag, since no one thought it was odd..had I lost that much I would think they would be reacting. So finally got her to do some additional testing and found a nodule on my thyroid so we fooled around until January..After gaining 48 lbs in less than 6 months!! I found an endocrinologist and she put me on the synthroid 50mg. Last time my levels were at a 2 so she was satisfied...I wasn't. I am still exhausted! I take Trazodone to fall asleep at night and my Adderall XR is what basically helps me wake up...its crazy! Tested my adrenal for adrenal fatigue syndrome..first test showed my levels were low, week later they were normal? Lord...the only thing I have learned through this is not to trust any damn doctors to figure out what is wrong with me! I am my own advocate! I research, research, research and then tell them what I want tested | That is so scary.
