Has anyone experienced this and found a good trick so that we can have any quiet time?

I know what you are going thru. Generally is alone from 7 in the morning until we get home between 5L40 and 6pm. He is in a pen during the day as opposed to a crate. I take him out for a walk that is at least 15 min or more depending on the weather. We will play with him off and on but not constant and after dinner and the kitchen is clean, he will sit by the door and wait for me to take him out again. If all goes well it is still light and we walk for about 25 min or more. This routine seems to be helping a bit. Also around 9pm when it is time for me to go to bed, he lets me know and we play for about 5 minutes or so on the bed. When I turn out the light, he lays down until Dad comes in and then he gets under the covers and sleeps.
I think if you can walk Daisy a couple of times in the evening even if it is just for 10 minutes it will help.
Good luck
