I've never had an actual pedicure. I saw a show when I was 12 or so on Dateline/20-20 or one of those type shows where the salons weren't cleaning well and several women had gotten some type of fungus that turned their legs splotchy purple and there was no cure for it. I think it scarred me for life because everytime I think about going for a pedi I remember that show and chicken out.
