The breeder we got Nahla from (Nolen's Yorkies - love them!!!) offered to fly with the puppy in the passenger cabin rather than shipping it the cargo way - there's no climate control down there and who wants to do that to a puppy anyway? We just drove from Maryland to Georgia - Helen was nice enough to drive up from Florida and meet us.
Maybe you will find the perfect yorkie parents that will fly to you? If they must fly, carrying them on is a lot more comfortable than cargo shipping.
