I do NOT fast my dogs, especially not on pre-made. If I fed prey model, I would consider it - given the increased amount of work their systems would require. Even then though, it's not required for health - it's a choice. I think you also have to weigh the psychological effects - which, in my mind, are different in the home than in the wild. If I converted to prey model, I doubt I would fast my dogs.
As far as the enzymes - the advice actually makes little sense to me. Meat in their natural raw states still contain their enzymes - it is cooking and processing that leeches them out. So, enzymes should not need to be added to raw diets. During transition, I *suppose*, you could add them if you feel it would provide additional digestive support - but the meat on its own should be enough. JMO.
