Default ? 4 Mom's of multilples(yorkies)

This is a question for all you mom's of multiple dogs.....
Do your dogs react or respond when you call the name of one of the other dogs? Bentley, my maltese is almost 3 years old and Mia (yorkie) is 1 year old. I got her back in October and this is the first time I have had 2 dogs at the same time. I love having 2, the really enjoy each other and keep each other company. I have noticed that when I call Bentley, Mia seems to understand that I'm calling him and will run to him like she's trying to get his attention or get him to come along. Example: I'll say "outside" and Mia will run to the door and we step outside. Sometimes Bentley doesn't follow or come and I will keep the door open and call him..."Bentley, Outside" Mia will dart back inside and run to him and act all excited and try and get him to follow her. Bentley doesn't do this. Do any of your dogs seem to understand that you are calling one of the others?
