Barbi, my daughter, needs prayers.....again. We always have such strange stuff happen to us! Yesterday she was getting some "barn" kittens out. They are 6 weeks old and were stuck in the stairs. Richard pried up the step and she was getting them out. One of them beserk on her and bit her several times on her hands. She washed her hands really good and went on her way............to Austin on the back of the Harley for a ralley. By the time she got there, her hand was so swollen she couldn't bend her thumb. My best friend is an RN and she told her she should go to the ER asap because bites on the knuckle can be very dangerous. They kept Barbi in the ER most of the night on IV antiobiotics. Finally sent her back to the hotel with oral antiobiotics and told her to come back this morning if it was worse. Well it was much worse but Barbi didn't want to be in the hospital so far away from home so she is back on the Harley in 100 degree heat for the 4 hour ride back home and straight to the hospital. Apparently they are going to have to do some kind of surgery and flush it out. All this from a 6 oz kitten!!!!
