Partis are yorkies with a color variant....meaning not within the standard set by YTCA. They can be akc registered but not shown. There is no color standard placement for partis.
Biewers orginated in Germany by Werner Biewer in 1983. His pair of yorkies..produced a litter of these colored puppies. He developed the line and the standard. Biewers have tri colored heads (although there are some with 2), a white tummy, white legs, at least a white tip on their tails, there is no standard to the amount of white or black saddles. Their tails are not docked. They are not recognized by AKC and most are registered in Germany. They are shown in rare breed dog shows.
