I don't think raw dehydrated would be any richer than other food - in fact, dry puppy food is usually higher in fat - so, I'd compare ingredients first. Also, how old are the pups? I guess, yes, I'd be concerned if a puppy had loose stool bc they're so vulnerable when puppies - even if still playful. Also, if I were you - I'd post your question in the breeder section and see what they have to say.
