Yeah that is hard. But you make the animals happy being there. Some of them have never been showed love or kindness. Even if they do not make it out they will have been loved. Hopefully your local shelter has a low euthanasia rate. Mine does, so I am lucky. I got Fritzel and Kasey my cocker from there. You can also tell all your friends about the animals they have and maybe post for help and contact rescues. All shelters need volunteers to help with these things.
