I have a friend in the SAME situation... they were "lovers" for many years and then he decided they "grew" apart and wanted be just "friends"..... She fell apart then got over it and NOW he is coming back with all that..... I think it is a terrible thing, and yes, he wants his cake and eat it too. I feel so bad for both of them.
