 Couldn't believe this woman!!
Can you believe that I went to a yardsale today and this woman was selling Boxers and she was trying to push one on me and I told her I have 6 yorkies, I do not need another dog.. Well she went on to say that her sister had bought a yorkie from a petstore and was told he would not be over 3.5 lbs and he was 7lbs so she "got rid of him" Then she said that her sister was looking for another one and wanted to have my number so that her sister could call me about buying Polo.( I mentioned that Polo would probably be pretty small but I would never promise a size to anyone).. What do you think I said!!!! Well I said a big NO... Then I gave her a long lecture about dogs not being something you just throw away, that I would never promise my dog to be any particular size, that my dogs were not offered on a first come first serve basis. that I require them to be neutered and that I have to approve the homes for them.... I gave her my website and told her to read it, that it would tell her what kind of breeder I desire to be and that she should consider being as picky as me when breeding her Boxers... I don't think she cared!!! |
