I feel badly for you. I had to have MacTavish cut down. He wasn't "skinned" but he was pretty short. Mac showed no signs of resentment or anything. He was just glad to be home. Since it's summer, your boy may like not having the longer coat. Besides, it will grow and this will give you time to stay on top of the brushing. All the Best!
