Unless you have been watching her constantly, it is possible that she passed the placenta later and ate it. Females continue to have have contractions for days after the puppies are born. She will be just fine until you get her to the vets this morning to get a clean out shot. For the next week you will just need to monitor her temperature twice a day to be sure she does not start getting a uterus infection.
