I would let the vet obtain the urine sample because it ensures that it's not contaminated.
But if you want to try to bring in a sample yourself, many people try to catch a sample in a soup ladle or something like that, but it allows room for contamination.
I'm sorry your baby's kidney values are elevated...The urinalysis is a very good idea for your baby. Good luck!!
