he is still a puppy and misses his pack... use an xpen around the crate and leave it open. use stuffed animals and lots of love and eye contact.. just keep trying and he will grow out of it.. try feeding him in his crate..chew toys and dingo bones are needed for the chewers and diggers ....yorkies
...or get another puppy for him to sleep with..
get him a special bed...
